A2 of the ICT WJEC Course- Admin testing
- This unit is about acquiring knowledge and understanding of information systems, which is assessed by means of a two and a quarter hours’ written examination. Section A refers to the theory element of IT1 and accounts for 75% of the examination. Section B accounts for 25% and requires candidates to use ICT hardware and spreadsheet modelling software to solve a realistic problem and answer questions on their solution in the written examination.
This course is intended as a guide to enable the user to create a mailmerged document, in Microsoft Office 2003, without having any prior knowledge.
- This course is intended as a guide to enable the user to create a mailmerged document, in Microsoft Office 2003, for the GCSE ICT course. A mailmerge is required as part of the project requirements under the heading of Dataflow.
This unit requires candidates to use ICT hardware and software applications to solve a problem involving three separate tasks: the production of (i) a document such as a leaflet or magazine (ii) a document containing automated routines, such as a mail merged letter. (iii) a presentation to an audience, such as a web page or PowerPoint type show.
The course is intended to reinfoce pupils' ICT knowledge of the internet.
